What even is a zine?!

I like to think of it as a little booklet about anything you want it to be. There are zero rules around what it needs to look like, how it needs to be made, if it is shared with others or not, etc.

My process normally is getting an A4 piece of paper, folding it into an 8 page zine (there are tonnes of tutorials online on how to do this), and then I use craft materials that i've accumulated over the years to make my zine.

Now, I am not the master of zines, I know very little about the culture around them and how they came to be. Find a youtube video about that if that's what you're looking for. I started making them in mid 2025, and they were absolute trash, and they still are! The point of doing them for me is to have fun and express myself.
